    ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
The Strength and Conditioning industry is fiercely competitive and every day leading UK S&C coach, Nick Grantham gets a bunch of e-mails from aspiring S&C coaches asking the same question, “How do I get a job as an S&C coach?”.

No one seems to be telling you how to do this.

Getting a job is already tough so other coaches don’t want you to know how to get a job in the industry and make it even tougher!

Many lecturers in Universities have never even worked in the industry and don’t really know what employers in performance sport are looking.

Aspiring S&C coaches are coming to the party empty handed with little or no chance of getting a job in the industry.

It’s about time someone gave you the tools needed to break in to the industry.

For the first time ever Nick Grantham will unlock his secrets to success and show you how to significantly improve your chances of making it as an S&C coach using five simple steps.

✓   Find out which qualifications stand-out on applications and which ones will see your CV being consigned to the bin.

✓   Discover why 3 years worth of degree based book smarts just doesn’t cut it.

✓   Understand why you need to get experience working as a coach – not as a Barista!

✓   Find out how to get your foot in the door and make sure it doesn’t get slammed back in your face.

✓   Learn what makes a great coach and the key skills needed to become a ‘linchpin’.

✓   Learn to play the game and understand exactly what employers are looking for.

✓   Walk away with practical tools and resources that will actually help you achieve your goal.

✓   Find out why your ‘online-footprint’ could be killing your chances of getting a job. Google, Facebook and Twitter tell me a lot about you!

Nick has worked in the industry for the 15 years and he knows a thing or two when it comes to landing jobs in high performance sport. Nick’s extensive experience in the development of performance fitness and sport science service delivery includes coaching Commonwealth, European, World and Olympic medallists. He’s also worked with professional & international football, rugby, basketball and cricket players.

As an employer Nick has sifted through thousands of CV’s and interviewed hundreds of applicants. He’s mentored strength and conditioning interns including the UK Sport Fast Track Practitioner Programme Intern of The Year 2007. Bottom line, Nick knows exactly what employers are looking for and can help you get your foot in the door.
